Sculptor, painter, cartoonist, gra]k and stage designer, co-founder of the "Zielony Balonik" cabaret. In 1903-1908 he studied at the Cracow Academy of Fine Arts under Teodor Axentowicz, Julian Fałat, Stanisław Wyspiański and Konstanty Laszczka. In 1904 he participated in the publication of "Teki Melpomeny" and collaborated with the magazine Liberum Veto. From 1909 he continued his studies in Paris. After returning to the country in 1914, he participated in the First World War and served in the Polish Legions. He was the founder, director and professor of the Institute of Visual Arts, a member of the Society of Polish Artists Art, "Rhythm" and "Ryt" groups. After World War II, he was briefly a professor at the Wroclaw State Higher School of Fine Arts, and then at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow. The artist practiced satirical drawing, engaged in landscape painting and portrait sculpture, and worked with Warsaw theaters as a stage designer.
