One of the most interesting and rarest quarter-guilders, featuring a portrait in a completely different style—the ruler is depicted small, holding an apple in his outstretched hand, the entire design fits within the border; on the reverse, the Piast heraldic eagle. The piece is centrally struck with all elements of the portrait and the eagle, as well as the rim inscriptions, clearly defined; it is heavily bent with internal cracks. A very rare portrait variety.
