MAGDALENA BARAN. Born in 1975 in Warsaw, she graduated from Ecole Superieure d'art et de design Angers, France(1998), where she received a DNAP with distinction from the French Ministry of Culture. She studied in the atelier of: Edward Baran, Jean Pierre Pincemin, Philippe Cognee. In 2014 she completed postgraduate studies in art therapy at the Academy of Humanities and Economics in Lodz, and in 2019 she completed her master's degree at the Institute of Art Education in Warsaw with a specialization in art therapy, where she received a diploma with distinction in painting in the studio of Prof. Joanna Stasiak. Since 2014, she has been working as an art therapist with mentally ill people.
In her work, she seeks the relationship between the external and internal worlds, and tries to capture the intangible.
