Expressive landscape with an intensely textural structure - impasto painted scene with trees, in front of architecture. The gesture of the paint creates a dramatic expression, combining elements of abstraction with impressionistic landscape. This is Zakrzewski's typical approach - a sensual record of nature in the form of an almost sculptural oil layer.
