The print is from the “Teka Melpomeny” published in Kraków in 1904 by A. Pruszyński. The portfolio is described in M. Grońska’s 1994 study “Grafika w książce, tece, albumie” under no. 7. The artist depicted Jadwiga Mrozowska in the title role of the play “Anastazja,” written by Adolf Walewski based on a short story by Eliza Orzeszkowa. The play premiered at the Municipal Theater in Kraków on March 12, 1904.
