The presented object is an extremely elaborate Persian silver vase from the second half of the 19th century. Made of silver with rich relief decoration, it is characterized by an elegant, slender form with a well-defined base and a wide-spreading spout with a gently wavy rim. The surface of the vase was decorated with intricate, hand-engraved floral decoration, interspersed with arabesque motifs, which are characteristic of traditional Middle Eastern craftsmanship.
The lower part of the body features symmetrically arranged rosette appliqués inlaid with fine turquoises, which add exceptional elegance to the object and emphasize its oriental character. Turquoises, valued in Persian art for their protective properties, are a distinctive accent contrasting with the oxidized silver. The whole piece is topped with a harmoniously composed, richly decorated ornament, the precise execution of which testifies to the artist's high level of craftsmanship.
