Silver, fire-gilt, chased, engraved, punched. Artfully crafted lidded tankard with a flat tapering stand ring with surrounding pincer ornamentation. The slightly tapered wall is decorated all around with fruit and floral elements; surrounded by cartouche ornamentation typical of the Renaissance. The hinged lid is decorated to match the wall and has a small round knob in the middle. C-shaped handle with forked thumb rest and pearl band decoration. The lid is somewhat loose. (1420627) (13))
