First edition. One of the key achievements of Polish lexicography of the 19th century - the most extensive and precise Latin-Polish dictionary of its era. Its author was Jesuit Fr. Florian Bobrowski (1777-1846), a philologist and librarian of the Polotsk Academy, who compiled it on the model of the dictionary of Jacopo Facciolati (1682-1769), an Italian philologist and lexicographer, best known as the co-author of the monumental dictionary Totius Latinitatis Lexicon.
