This is a comprehensive catalog raisonné, containing detailed entries on one thousand fifty-four paintings, sculptures and works on paper by Amadeo Modigliani, which was independently published by Joseph Lanthemann in 1970. It later became known among experts in the field as the most controversial of the artist's several catalogs raisonné due to the author's inclusion of many works of questionable provenance and/or documentation. An extremely attractive piece of this rare edition limited to two thousand five hundred.
