In exile, the year 1920 was recently dealt with by novelist Jozef Mackiewicz in his book "Left Free," published by the Polish Cultural Foundation. Reactions to this book, which is a mixture of fiction and historiosophy, have varied widely. It had some enthusiastic reviews, but there were also voices of criticism and even outrage. A number of members of our Association also became acquainted with the book, and inquiries began to arrive at headquarters both about its historiosophical theses and the advisability of publishing it. While preserving the debatable nature of our publication, the Association leaves it to the readers to draw their own conclusions from reading "Left Free" and the voices of experts of the period, many of whom took part in the events of the time.
