One of Jerzy Zagorski's most significant literary works, combining elements of poetry and philosophical reflection on the human condition. Zagorski, who is a representative of the Żagary literary group, explores mythological themes in this work, juxtaposing them with the realities of the modern world. In the book we find references to ancient gods and heroes, who symbolize universal values and ideas, but they are confronted with the reality of people, their weaknesses and moral dilemmas.
