Stylish gold-plated frame in the Neo-Baroque style
Wood, metallic leaf/bronze
External dimensions: 46 x 41 cm
Internal dimensions: 25 x 21
A wooden frame with a wide, slightly undulating profile, finished in gold. The corners are decorated with rich relief ornamentation featuring plant motifs, including acanthus leaves, volutes, and a pea-patterned design. In the background of the corner decorations is a characteristic latticework (trellis), which lends the composition depth and decorative appeal. The edges of the profile are adorned with narrow ornamental bands featuring a stylized, jagged leafy garland (floral frieze), running along the inner and outer edges of the frame. The profile is slightly convex and softly contoured, which emphasizes its three-dimensional character. The original mounting holes have been preserved in the corners, attesting to the original method of attaching the decorative elements or the frame structure.
Condition: Very good
