Bartek Buczek is a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Katowice, Poland. He received his diploma in the atelier of Andrzej Tobis. He practices painting and creates installations. Privately, he is a fan of cycling, hip hop and literature. At the same time he assembles exhibitions for cultural institutions, thanks to which he views the world of art from many perspectives: that of the artist, curator, editor and viewer. In his works he touches on themes related to the condition of modern man. Sometimes in his paintings he takes on the role of a villainous super villain who wants to change the world order. However, everything is presented with a certain amount of (black) humor, such as the very introduction accompanying the exhibition at the Project Room of the CCA Ujazdowski Castle:
Pinky: - Brain, what are we going to do tonight?
Brain: - Exactly the same thing we do every, Pinky - master the world!
