Good condition. Handwritten autograph letter. Extensive 8 page letter to General Carl v.Preussen, grandson of King Friedrich Wilhelm III on military matters, who had the Krajenka estate near Zlotow. The author is Baer, a non-commissioned officer and military feldsher who arrived in Lubin in the year the letter was written, and in addition to his name signed his military rank or his function. He is the father of Dr. Oswald Baer, a prominent Silesian physician and regional researcher and author of books about Lubin and Jelenia Gora. The letter is about describing the events of the Spring of Nations - 1848 and then Major von Tümpling mentioned about 10 times and Colonel von Wechmar.
