Biography
Between 1905 and 1910, he studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow under K. Laszczka, and between 1918 and 1920 he trained under W. Weiss. He continued his studies in Vienna with E. Gerisch, in Paris with J. Pankiewicz and in Italy. He was a member of the "Jednoróg" and "Zwrotnik" groups. He exhibited his works at TPSP in Cracow, among others. He was also active in teaching, lecturing at the Jagiellonian University and the Cracow Polytechnic University. He was also involved in sculpture, stage design, and was an art critic, writer and musician. He was influenced by French Impressionism and Cubist style. The subjects of his works were landscapes, still lifes and portrait studies.
