Tadeusz Ostrowski (1905-1944) was a lifelong Krakow-bound football player, a defender at TS Wisla Krakow. He played for the club since 1925. Wlastimil Hofman, a great admirer of Wisla, portrayed him several times, including in a large canvas "Footballers" from 1935 together with Mieczyslaw Balcer.
