Since 1965, he has had dozens of solo exhibitions and participated in many group exhibitions, such as: Festivals of Polish Contemporary Painting in Szczecin (1972, 1974, 1978), the "Golden Grape" Symposia in Zielona Gora (1975, 1977), the Polish Poster Biennale, Katowice 1975 and the International Poster Biennale, Warsaw 1988, as well as the International Biennale of Graphics in Cracow (1984, 1997). His painting has gone through various phases, from geometric abstraction to magical surrealism. He creates both paintings operating with the illusion of space and compositions resembling patchwork through the accumulation of varied, colorful forms on a flat background. They are dominated by a spirit of the grotesque and humor.
