Damien Hirst is one of the most controversial yet acclaimed contemporary artists whose work is generating enormous interest worldwide. His work, which balances on the border between art and provocation, has gained recognition among collectors, critics and the general public alike.

One of his signature series are the Spin Paintings, and among them, works using the butterfly motif, such as Butterfly Spin and Heart Spin, attract particular attention.Heart Spin is part of the Spin Paintings series, which Hirst began in 1995. Spin Paintings are paintings created by applying paint to a spinning canvas. The artist uses different colors that spread radially across the canvas, creating dynamic, abstract compositions with intense, bright colors. Hirst's Spin Paintings are created using a specially constructed machine that rotates the canvas while the artist applies paint to it. This creates abstract, radiant patterns that evoke dynamism and movement.
