The color woodcut "Skiers" was awarded a silver medal at the Olympic art competition in Los Angeles in 1932.

Biography
She initially attended Kazimiera Kochanowska’s girls’ school in Warsaw. She then continued her education at the State Pedagogical Courses for Art Teachers. Later, she studied painting, printmaking, and sculpture at the School of Fine Arts. She was Władysław Skoczylas’s favorite student in his printmaking class. Janina Konarska exhibited her work frequently and enjoyed numerous successes. She was a laureate at the International Art Exhibition and in international graphic arts competitions. Her woodcuts were in high demand, particularly her depictions of saints and works featuring animals. She was awarded a silver medal at the Olympic Art and Literature Competition in Los Angeles in 1932.
