Artist with special ties to Silesia, master of woodcut portraits. Studied at the State Industrial School in Lviv and at the State School of Fine Arts in Warsaw, among others with Wladyslaw Skoczylas, who had a decisive influence on his work, hence the artist's nickname "Silesian Skoczylas".
