Autolithograph created personally by the artist at Aureliusz Pruszyński’s Artistic Lithography Workshop, Kraków, 17 Pijarska Street, in 1928 to mark the 25th anniversary of the artist’s creative career.

Aureliusz Pruszyński ( 1847, Kasinka Mała, Limanowa County – 1904, Kraków) was a Kraków-based lithographer and owner of the renowned Aureliusz Pruszyński Artistic Lithography Workshop in Kraków, founded in 1873 at ul. Pijarska 17; from around 1902, the workshop was owned by his son, Zenon Pruszyński (see SAP, vol. 8, pp. 92–93). At A. Pruszyński’s studio, starting in the late 19th century, leading Kraków artists had their graphic works (including posters) printed using the lithographic technique, such as the famous “Melpomene Portfolio.”
