Trybowski Award at the International Print Triennial in Kraków (1994). In 2001, he was awarded the W. Wojtkiewicz Prize by the Kraków chapter of the Association of Polish Artists and Designers (ZPAP) for the most interesting solo exhibition presented in Kraków. As one of the few Kraków artists, he has been helping to shape the neo-expressionist movement in Poland since the 1980s. He paints in a characteristically simplified style, sharply defining colors and shapes, often exaggerating them to the point of caricaturing figures and situations.
