Creates paintings, woven objects and painting installations. She works in graphic design, illustration and computer graphics. In her abstract paintings she is interested in color and painterly structure. In her objects she uses weaving techniques. She is inspired by the work of minimalists, the contemporary avant-garde, the experiments of Lare Poons and street art. In figurative works, she juxtaposes painterly backgrounds with digital drawing. He creates illustrations for children and adults, mainly interactive illustration based on active participation of the viewer. He uses photography, digital printing and monotyping. In her works she likes to use the collage technique, both in paintings and in illustrations and digital graphics. She creates works in series. 1996/2000 Asleep in the Landscape, 1999/2000 Bones, Houses, War Games, 2002/2004 Dome , 2004/2005 Flower boom, 2008 Colorful, For fun, 2008/2011 Nothing much. She lives and works in Warsaw's Powiśle district.
She has participated in dozens of group exhibitions at home and abroad: 2019 - Kolory, solo exhibition, gallery 002, Warsaw. 2018 - Paint przede wszystkim gallery DAB, Warsaw. 2013 - Charity auction for the treatment of Prof.Januszewski, ASP Warsaw, 2013 - Nothing much, solo exhibition, gallery 002, Warsaw, 2012 - VII Festival of Contemporary Painting, Szczecin. 2001/2002 - and it's all serious, post-competition exhibition, Germany, Lithuania, Poland, Russia.
In 1994/95 she received a scholarship from the Minister of Culture and Art. In 2000 she received the first prize in the competition A It's All Serious at Neues Kunsthause Arenshoop (Germany) - presenting an installation of woven painting objects Przedwiośnie.
In 2001/2002 for Arkadius (England), the National Opera in Warsaw and the LA Opera (USA), she designed printed costumes for A.Mozart's opera Don Giovanni, directed by M. Treliński and set design by B. Kudliczka. She is an assistant professor at the Faculty of Graphic Design at WIT in Warsaw in the Studio of Graphic Design and Digital Illustration.
Education:
Graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts, Faculty of Design in Cracow. At the Faculty of Graphic Design at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, she completed her doctoral studies and received her PhD in 2017.
