Heavy, smooth, Ottoman (prey) barrel made of Damascene steel with 15 mm calibre and silver musket. The upper surface of the barrel is richly embossed with silver ornamentation. Stamped Turkish mark above the chamber. The smooth bombarded flintlock is signed 'Caspar Neuman A Prespurg'. All-painted, walnut stock, smooth brass guard. Wooden charging handle with hornwood ramrod. Austria around 1720, length 50,5 cm. Caspar (Gaspar) Neuman became a master in Bratislava in 1680. Condition 1-

The top of the barrel is richly inlaid with silver ornamental decoration and with a struck maker´s mark in Arabic. The flintlock with a domed lockplate is signed "Caspar Neuman A Prespurg". The walnut full stock with smooth brass furniture. Wooden ramrod with bone tip. Austria circa 1720, length 50.5 cms. Caspar (Gaspar) Neuman became a master in Bratislava (Pressburg) in 1680.
