Beautiful, pre-war saucepan produced at the Porcelain and Ceramic Products Factory in Ćmielów. It belongs to the exclusive "Empire" dinner service, developed in the 1930s by designers B. Wysocki and J. Steckiewicz. This line was created for a special order of President Ignacy Moscicki, intended for the representative interiors of the Royal Castle in Warsaw around 1933-1934.
The piece is decorated with elegant, simple, but richly detailed gilding. One side of the bowl shows a wreath with the numerals "3.P.P.L." (3rd Legion Infantry Regiment). Originally, the elements of this emblem were additionally covered with gold, which has rubbed off over the years. The saucepan was an accessory of the tableware of the Officers' Casino of the 3rd Legion Infantry Regiment in Jaroslaw, used in the years 1934-1939.
Condition: consistent with photos; visible natural traces of use in the form of rubbing and a minor chipping at the neck.
