Porcelain figurine, painted, glazed. Designed by Bogumil Marcinek (1904-1940) in 1929, made at the Ćmielów factory in the 1930s. Signed on the bottom with the factory's mark from the 1930s. Under the signature the inscription "Hand painted". Height 14 cm.
Good condition. Collectible porcelain figurine. Beautiful, accurate painting. Bogumił Marcinek - Polish ceramist, working as a designer in Ćmielów since 1928. He was a pupil of Tadeusz Szafran. His most famous design is the Lowiczanka (now called Magdusia) and Kazicka, which were exhibited at the General National Exhibition in Poznan in 1929. Both figurines directly refer to the so-called folk types. 10023/109
