A large standing clock, called "comtoise" (after the Franche-Compté region where these clocks were traditionally made in the 17th and up to the early 20th century). Decorated with floral motifs, the dial is placed on an ornate brass plate, decorated with a harvest scene. Name of the maker on the dial (Rousseau frères, Avallon). France, 19th - early 20th century.
Good condition, traces of the passage of time. The clock is in working order.
