Rubbing of the covers, loosening of the binding, yellowish spots on the pages in places, lack of tissue guards in front of the illustrations (only 1 retained.) Good condition. The old fairy tale: a novel of the 9th century. Historical novel by Kraszewski from 1876, forming the first part of the novel cycle "History of Poland". Includes 24 illustrations by E. Andriolli (1836-1893), Polish illustrator, illustrator and painter, representative of Romanticism.
