PSZnZ/Emigration Collection: Life. A Catholic Weekly on Religion and Culture

An archival collection of a Polish émigré magazine “Życie. Katolicki Tygodnik Religijno-Kulturalny” (Life: A Catholic Religious and Cultural Weekly), bound as a commemorative yearbook. It is a valuable historical source documenting the postwar activities of the Polish independence and religious émigré community in the United Kingdom during the 1950s. The first photo shows the title page of the official table of contents for the entire eighth annual volume from 1951. This page, divided into four vertical columns filled with small print, contains a detailed list of materials published in all issues from that period, grouped into thematic sections such as Church documents, articles, essays, columns, book reviews, theater, film, music, visual arts, obituaries, and poetry.
Overall condition as shown in the photos.
