Biography
Franek Warzywa (Franciszek Drażba) is a graduate of the Faculty of Media Art at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. He defended his master's degree in 2022 under the supervision of Katarzyna Krakowiak-Balka, PhD, and Piotr Kopik, PhD. As Franek Vegetables, he constantly pushes the boundaries of popular culture and artworld, in an audiovisual duo with Young Buddha, creating alternative pop, widely drawing on jazz and visual art . To their credit, they have performed at many festivals, both in Poland and abroad, as well as performances in the most important cultural institutions in Poland (including Zachęta - National Gallery of Art, Labyrinth Gallery, CSW Łaźnia, BWA Wrocław, Foksal Gallery Foundation, NOMUS Gdańsk, Arsenal Gallery, CSW Ujazdowski Castle). Participant in numerous group exhibitions, and author of individual exhibitions (Labyrinth Gallery, Nowy Zloty).
