He received his Master of Fine Arts degree from the Faculty of Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow in 2012 under Prof. Andrzej Bednarczyk. From 2008 to 2009 he studied at the Faculty of Fine Arts at Newcastle University, and from 2013 to 2014 at the Warsaw Film School at the Faculty of Directing. His realizations cover a wide spectrum of artistic language, between abstractionist gesture painting in large formats to linear, monochromatic and precise structures. Winner of many art competitions, he has received scholarships from the Academy of Fine Arts and the EU. He co-founded the nationwide artistic charity project "Har Har Hat" (2016). He has repeatedly participated in performative ventures, such as painting in front of an audience or translating sound forms into his own drawing language. From 2014 to 2016, he was the director and producer of an independent short film titled. "Hipo" (2016). The film was enthusiastically received at the Feature Short Film Competition at the 41st Gdynia Film Festival, where it had its premiere public screening and audience meeting. Since 2015, together with Mexican artist Alejandra Solano, he has been creating an international project combining large-scale painting, sound and experimental photography called "Aluwium/Aluvión," referring to the term for geological sediment deposited on a riverbank. The collaboration has resulted in two exhibitions,
the first in Madrid in November 2015 and another in Mexico City in 2016.
The painting on display is from the latest series, initiated after the artist's return from Mexico. It refers in form to the works created during the trip, dynamic and visually approaching matter painting. The organic structures on the canvas are full of expressive colors creating chaos, but only to the extent that it is allowed to exist. This work was the first in the series to be shown to a wider audience.
