Hand open, metal fittings. The yoke is straight, with the front shoulder bent upward, decorated on both sides with oak leaves. On the inner side stamped numerator "S.Ar.I 1343". Head in the shape of an eagle's head in profile. Handle made of two horn facings, connected to the shaft of the head with two rivets. The head of steel, polished, nickel-plated, profiled on both sides in a single medial groove. On the inner sill the signature "ALEXANDER COPPEL SOLINGEN" is stamped, on the outer sill the weight symbol and the letters "ACS" are incorporated. The trunk is metal, trimmed with black leather. White metal hardware. Neck with a catch hook, fixed in the scabbard sheath with a screw. Viscera ended with a flattened ball. The bayonet fixed in a frog, on which is tied a properly regulation police non-commissioned officer's sling.
The bayonet described, also known as a commemorative or exit bayonet, does not have a guide for attachment to the rifle, nor a snap mechanism (the bird's eye is a dummy snap).
