Narrow, slightly curved older blade from the end of the 18th or beginning of the 19th century with double-sided carving and etched decoration in the upper part, silvered hilt with cross guard decorated with engravings and filigree is derived in shape from Turkish sabres (shamshir). It is mounted with Czech garnets and silvery cabochons (polished pyrite?) on the face. The wooden scabbard is covered with black velvet, with silver-plated fittings decorated identically to the hilt. Two free hanging rings. Housed in a leather case lined with black velvet and covered with silk at the top, together with silver spurs. Austro-Hungarian hallmarks for purity 750/1000, probably Pest. Austria-Hungary, last quarter of the 19th century, length 100 cm.
