Closed hand, Indian talwar type binding, with a bail reaching the round head in the form of a shield. All-metal, covered with a non-illustrated ornament. The binding is later than the head. Shamshir-type, Persian, eighteenth-century damascus steel head. Drawing of damascene on the head long ago undeveloped, and therefore poorly visible. The head with a very high curvature, with a wedge-shaped cross-section. On the outer lobe deeply beaten, very clearly visible mark of the armorer - a reference to the Quran, meaning in free translation, among other things, "Allah is judge in time of need" and an invocation of the name of the ruling Shah Abbas in Persia. P o c h w a s wooden, covered with faded silk in a light green color. Slight loss of wood and material on scabbard without viscera.
