Hunting crossbow made in Germany during the 19th century, stylistically imitating the Renaissance crossbow of the 16th century. The stock is wooden, decorated with bone applications. A solid steel bow with a string equipped with a protective wrap. Part of the construction is a stirrup that facilitates the stretching of the string.
