Paweł KOSIOR (b. 1988), Żołyński Forest, 2024

oil on canvas, 40 x 60 cm, signed lower right: KOSIOR P.

Born in 1988 in Żołyń. Currently resides in Glasgow, Scotland. A self-taught artist, he has been painting for over 12 years, beginning his artistic journey with acrylics and watercolors before gradually transitioning to oil paints. The themes of his paintings are very diverse—the artist is constantly searching for his own style, mainly through experimentation, drawing inspiration from both the world around him and online resources.

In his work, he most often draws on the traditions of surrealism, symbolism, and magical realism. He does not limit himself solely to his studio; he also regularly paints outdoors. His works are held in private collections in Poland and abroad. The artist has held several solo exhibitions and has participated in group exhibitions in Poland and the United Kingdom.
