Paula Staniec, 46 years old, born in Tarnow, permanently associated with Krakow. I discovered my passion for painting two years ago and since then I've been trying to pour my own fascinations and emotions onto canvas. I mainly focus on alternative worlds or dreams not shying away from abstraction as well
The painting "We will begin again" is part of the Wandering series, in which we follow two young protagonists traversing fascinating lands, often dark, full of chaos, uncertainty and transience.... The monumentality of the depicted scenery of the city with blurred shapes, obliterated by time, adds to the apocalyptic character and emphasizes the loneliness of the wandering characters. The painting is meant to make us reflect on what is important and where we are going.
