Adam Faglio was born in 1954 in Wisnicz, where he still lives and works today. He deals exclusively with painting. He participates in artistic life, taking part in plein-air and group and individual exhibitions. His works are in numerous private and public collections (museums, churches) at home and abroad.

Love is blended into all of nature, you just need to keep your eyes open - to learn to see, hear and feel more. Within the range of its influence runs the life of each of us - our sensitivity and our history are formed, and in it we also find respite.
Adam Faglio treats painting as an actual vocation. He is a realist, and the realities depicted in his work are: landscapes, still lifes, portraiture and sacred subject matter.
It is usually a painterly transposition of the surrounding world.
The artist's works capture the charm and emotion of the places with which he has been in contact and which have captivated him on the path of creative exploration. What catches the eye in them is the thoughtful composition, choice of colors, precise drawing and specific mood.
In the landscapes he was able to see the charms of all seasons. We see atmospheric conditions - fog, wind, a frosty morning, a sunny day or a luminous sunrise; the sky reflected in a sheet of water and a meadow interspersed with yellow patches of milkweed.
Still life expresses the artist's metaphorical thoughts. The props selected for it
are carefully selected, so that through the relationship of shapes and color neighborhoods to achieve a specific mood and tension - an atmosphere of irreality - even a dream. The objects transposed onto the canvas take on an intrinsic meaning, acting on the sense of vision, and are a lure for initiating us into the content of what the painting depicts - that's why their eloquence is so poetic, full of understated storytelling.
The artist cannot be assigned a specific color range. The color combinations in his paintings are often reflections of subjective experiences, impressions and emotions. He has an excellent sense of color. Based on local colors, he creates his own means of expression. He is able to achieve a variety of effects, using once dimmed gamut, once intense and shimmering.
