Graduate of the Painting and Graphic Arts Department of the State Higher School of Fine Arts in Gdansk in the graphic design studio of Prof. Jerzy Krechowicz and in the painting studio of Prof. Henryk Cześnik. He received his diploma in painting in 1994, with an annex in graphic design led by Prof. Wieslaw Debski. The artist's painting fascinations include the works of Albrecht Dűrer, Mathis Grűnewald and Rembrandt. In the center of his work he places a human being - often lost, internally torn, torn by strong feelings. Expressively treated portraits or fragments of the human body, the artist juxtaposes with abstract, conventional space, experimenting with color stain, line and texture.
