Polish visual artist. Graduate and doctor of art from the Faculty of Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow. She mainly works in painting and video. In 2021, noted on the first place in the "Compass of Young Art 2020" published by "Rzeczpospolita". She is the recipient of many awards and scholarships, including: 2017 - Nomination for the "Spojrzenia" award, Deutsche Bank and Zachęta - National Gallery of Art; 2015 - WRO 2015 Main Award, Wro Media Art Biennale test Exposure; 2014 - Award of the Municipal Art Center in the "New Image" Competition, Poznań; 2013 - Grand Prix of the 3rd Young Art Review "Fresh Blood", Wrocław. Kus is the author of many solo exhibitions and participant in a number of group exhibitions at home and abroad. Selected solo exhibitions: 2021 - "LATER THAN YOU THINK: AGATA KUS & Neal Cassady," Galerie des Krakauer Hauses, Nuremberg (Germany); 2019 - "Agata Kus Horror Picture Show," Bunkier Sztuki, Krakow; 2018 - "Flammable Hydrogen," Visiting Gallery, Warsaw; 2018 - "Peleas and Melisande," Grand Theater - National Opera, Warsaw; 2016 - "Mademoiselle," Maëlle Galerie, Paris. Her paintings are in the collection of the MOCAK Museum of Contemporary Art in Krakow, the National Museum in Gdansk and in many private collections in Poland and abroad.
