Agnieszka MICHALCZYK (1984)
Graduated in painting and printmaking from the Hochschule für Grafik und Buchkunst in Leipzig. After receiving her diploma in painting and printmaking, she studied Arabic Studies at the University of Leipzig. Since 2012, she has been a lecturer at the design department of the German University in Cairo (GUC). She works mainly in painting, and is the author of street art projects and their implementation. She is interested in art in public space. She uses various media in her artistic work. Her work has been shown in exhibitions in Germany, Egypt and the United Arab Emirates, among others, and has been discussed and published in Walls of Freedom, Street art of the Egyptian Revolution.
