Ukrainian painter. He came from the Russian nobility. He studied painting from 1926 at the Kyiv Art Institute and the St. Petersburg Academy of Art. In 1945 he fled to Holstein, where he settled in Plön. he painted landscapes and portraits. In 65-68 he participated in archaeological expeditions in Syria, where he documented excavations.
