Biography
Studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw in the studio of Prof. Mieczyslaw Kotarbinski from 1935 to 39. He received his diploma in 1947. He was not affiliated with any art group and rarely participated in group exhibitions. In 1980 there was a large individual exhibition of his paintings at the Zachęta National Art Gallery. Most recently, Andrzej Mierzejewski's works were presented in 2004 at the National Museum in Warsaw, in a joint exhibition by Jacek, Andrzej and Jerzy Mierzejewski.
