Andrzej MIERZEJEWSKI

Painter. His father Jacek and brother Jerzy were also painters. From 1935 to 1939 he studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw in the atelier of Prof. Mieczyslaw Kotarbinski, graduating in 1947. He was not affiliated with any art group and rarely participated in group exhibitions. In 1980 there was a large individual exhibition of his paintings at the National Art Gallery "Zachęta". Most recently, Andrzej Mierzejewski's works were presented in 2004 at the National Museum in Warsaw, in a joint exhibition by Jacek, Andrzej and Jerzy Mierzejewski.
