In the 1970s, a series of paintings and gouaches saturated with intense color is created that are different from the previous monochromatic "Invoicers". Their common denominator is the motif of a circle. In the painting on display, circles cut out of paper, concentrically arranged, have been glued onto a board backing. In addition to the textural properties, the effect of pulsating color plays an important role here. The painting seems to emanate its own light. "He always said that, after all, everything begins with a spherical form, with a cell. A circle, a wheel or a sphere are figures found both on a micro and macro scale. Large canvases [...] were created in connection with the open-air "Copernicus Trail" organized in Olsztyn in 1971. - the event was connected with the celebration of the 500th anniversary of the birth of Nicolaus Copernicus. And here the main element is circles and its derivatives. Both in the large canvases and in the small ones we see good composition and excellent color solutions.
