Oil on canvas; dimensions: 55 x 152 cm; signed on the reverse: "Danuta Maryjowska-Praxmajer" and additionally signed on the stretcher. On the reverse is also a sticker from the Art Exhibitions Office in Kraków with a description of the work and a dedication by the artist from 1974.
Danuta Maryjowska-Praxmayer (1937–1999) —painter, graduate of the Painting Department at the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków. Co-creator of large-scale ceramic compositions, including wall decorations at the “Walcownik” vacation home in Krynica. Her work was featured in Bożena Kostuch’s publication *Color and Radiance. Architectural Ceramics and Mosaics in Kraków and Lesser Poland after 1945 (Kraków 2015).
