His first name Otton Romuald Wojciech was officially changed to Otton Wojciech in 1963.
In everyday life and professional work he used the name WOJCIECH.
Some publications incorrectly state the name Otto.

Father Otto Stanislaw/ 1843r. Warsaw-1908 Warsaw/ graduated from Dresden University in 1863 as a lithographer . With the impetus of an industrialist/employed 80 workers/runs the plant of his father Julius Volkmar / born 1814 in Colditz, Saxony-m. 1888 in Warsaw /who was also a lithographer and draughtsman when Juliusz was exiled for 10 years to Siberia /TOMSK/ for publishing patriotic pamphlets before the January Uprising. There he made numerous drawings of construction and the surrounding area. Today these works are in the collection of Tomsk University. He taught Stanislaw Witkiewicz drawing also while in exile in Tomsk.

Otton Stanislaw also purchased the establishment located at 42 Krakowskie Przedmieście Street from his wife's relative Franciszek Szustr owner of the Palace and estate in Mokotow . A well-known lithographer to varsavians.

After Franciszek Szustr's death/1901/according to the law of the majorate established with the title of baron he received at the Austro-Hungarian court, the Mokotow estate, with the consent of the family council, was taken over by his brother Antoni grandfather of Otto Romuald Wojciech Fleck.

Wojciech Fleck's mother Bronisława was the daughter of Antoni Szustr. She graduated from the conservatory in the piano class. She was buried in Antoni Szustr's tomb in the Old Powazki cemetery in W-wa./1931/.

His father died when Wojciech was 5 years old/1908/.He was buried in the family tomb at the Evangelical-Augsburg Cemetery in W-wa.

Wojciech Fleck attended the Kazimierz Kulwiecia Gymnasium on Plac Trzech Krzyży in Warsaw, from which he graduated in 1923. In 1923/24 he begins his studies at the School of Fine Arts in Warsaw . In the studio of Karol Tiche, Władysław Skoczylas, Wojciech Jastrzębowski and Józef Czajkowski.

He received his diploma from the Warsaw School of Fine Arts in 1929 /with a teacher's certificate in drawing/.

After graduation, his mother took her son on a trip abroad to Spain , France and Italy.

In the 1930s he married Zofia née Hińcz.

He participated in the Warsaw Uprising .Then he stayed in the camp in Pruszkow. In 1945 he arrived in Zakopane. He lost all his possessions in Warsaw and saved his life.

The Szustr and Fleek families were large in number. Scoligated with the writer and music critic Jerzy Waldorff, composer Andrzej Panufnik. Prof. of the Warsaw University of Technology Zbigniew Mazurkiewicz. Visual artist. Barbara Duchess Massalskaya.

In Zakopane from 1945r to 1950 he was an employee of the City Office in the position of manager of the exhibition hall of the Polish Bazaar. From 1950r to 1964r head of the CBWA Delegation in Zakopane.

He undertakes the above work at the inspiration of Professor Stanislaw Lorentz. And from 1964 to 1968r. B.W.A remaining in the position of manager until his retirement.
