Karolina Kostrzewska (b. 1985)
Artist, philosopher, and art experimenter.
She began her creative journey by designing jewelry, working at the intersection of material, form, and meaning. Combining seemingly incompatible materials, experimenting with texture, color, and structure, and pushing the boundaries of composition without losing internal coherence became the foundation of her early works. Over time, painting became another, constantly deepening field of expression, allowing her to explore various techniques and themes. Postgraduate studies in art history and painting introduced a conscious understanding of the painterly medium as a field of dialogue between tradition and personal experience. Currently, she works primarily in acrylic and oil, often incorporating elements of collage. She regards the creative process as an intimate and personal sphere, about which she speaks reluctantly, though at the same time she accompanies others in discovering their own expression within the framework of art therapy sessions.
