Pawel Lewandowski-Palle
Year of birth: 1954 Studied in 1974-79 at the Academy of Fine Arts/ASP in Wroclaw. Diploma with honors in painting under the direction of Prof. Zbigniew Karpinski and Mieczyslaw Zdanowicz. Since 1978 a scientific and didactic employee of his alma mater; currently teaching in the Graduate Studio of Organic Painting Techniques and Mosaics. Since 2002 he has held the title of professor of fine arts. Author of about 980 paintings on canvas and a similar number on other substrates. 70 solo exhibitions and about 460 group exhibitions. He cultivates an oeuvre that develops in long, long-term and modified cycles, the most important of which are: "Hommage", "The Long and Winding Road", "All Brightness - Second Brightness", "Provocation B.", "December 13, 1981", "Black Images", "Events", "Structural Images", "Primary Colors" or "About Poland". Curator of exhibitions and author of texts on art.
