Małgorzata Kosiec studied (1995-2000) at the Faculty of Graphic Arts and Painting of the W. Strzemiński Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź - she received her diploma with honors in 2000. Scholarship holder of the Ministry of Culture and Art. Finalist in the International Young Art 2002 program of Sotheby's auction house. She has exhibited in New York, Tel-Aviv, Amsterdam, Denver, Gotheborg, Malmo, London and Poland.
She is permanently represented by leading Swedish galleries in Gotheborg, Malmo and Stockholm. She is appreciated for her unique portrait technique and for combining modern visual means with the heritage of the great masters of painting. Her paintings have found their way into prestigious collections in Poland and abroad.
The artist's work runs simultaneously in two trends: the so-called typographic portraits, where the image is built from layers of letters, words and symbols, and in large-format abstractions. Both these currents are united by multilayeredness, the search for depth and mystery.
